More about Renton River Days:

Did you know that Renton River Days (RRD), a non-profit established in 1986, is led with a volunteer Board of Directors and comprised of dozens of volunteer event planning committees?  The non-profit of RRD’s exists for the primary purpose to plan, organize, and produce the annual community family festival for the greater Renton community.

For thirty-plus years, RRD’s has worked to plan, produce and pay for a wonderful variety of events and special features for youth, families, and seniors.  Sustaining festival traditions of non-gated free admission and nearly all activities remaining at low cost or free of charge have been priority to the volunteer Board of Directors.  Annual favorites include arts and crafts, visual and performing arts, recreation and athletic events, food, non-profit exhibitions, car shows, parade, numerous children’s activities and stage entertainment.  The volunteer team within RRD’s produces nearly 35 events and special programs.  It is Renton’s largest, most comprehensive, multi-faceted, and multi-day event where we celebrate Renton and its residents, community members, history, and culture.

Performing Arts & Children’s Programming:

Through community support, grants, and sponsorship, the non-profit of Renton River Days pays for all expenses associated with entertainment (40+ culturally diverse performing groups; nearly 300 performers each year), sound systems and technicians, numerous children’s activities (interactive games, educational activities, petting zoo, inflatables etc), and logistics such as rented staging, dining tent, shade tents, golf carts, fencing, free shuttle service, portolets and handsinks.

Your valuable contribution and support will help to sustain quality, culturally diverse, stage entertainment of performing artists, and numerous interactive, educational, and learning activities for children and families.
