2020 Renton River Days – Frequently Asked Questions
1. Event hours for Liberty Park (core features: low-cost and free activities, Nibble of Renton food vendor booths, Community Booths/nonprofits, Sponsor-only commercial booths, stage entertainment and Art Market/hand-crafted arts and crafts booths):

2. Free Shuttle Service:
Continuous shuttle service for pick-up and drop-off at two locations:
Renton Memorial Stadium (Logan Ave. N.) and at Liberty Park (Bronson Way N.) near the tennis courts.

Sunday, July 26, 10am-7pm
Parade Application will be available to download in April 2020.
Parade day is Saturday, July 25, on S. 3rd St. in downtown Renton. The Parade will begin at 10am. Questions regarding the Parade should be directed to Volunteer Parade Chair Nancy Quinn at 425.572.5702 or email at email@example.com.
4. Where to Purchase Rubber Ducky Derby Tickets:
Tickets will available for purchase at the Renton Rotary Exhibitor Booth in Liberty Park during festival weekend July 24 – 26, and Rotarians will be selling tickets along the Parade route on South 3rd Street on Saturday, July 25. Rotarians will also be selling Ducky Derby tickets from the Rotary Table at the Renton Farmers Market at the Piazza in downtown Renton on Tuesdays during June and July. Tickets are also available for purchase at St. Charles Place Antiques, Cugini Florists, and The Renton Printery located in downtown Renton, and from any Renton Rotary Club member.
For each $5 ticket, supporters have a chance to win one of several great prizes (2019 prizes listed; stay-tuned for 2020 prizes!):
- 1st Place: $1,000 donated by Renton Rotarians
- 2nd Place: $750 donated by Renton Coil Spring Co.
- 3rd Place: $500 Gift Card donated by IKEA
- 4th Place: $500 Gift Certificate donated by King & Bunnys Appliances
- 5th Place: $450 Renton Dining donated by Melrose Grill, Torero’s, The Gyros House, Wildfin Grill, Jimmy Mac’s, The Red House and Marianna.
5. Art Market (hand-crafted arts and crafts vendors at Liberty Park) and
Applications for NEW VENDORS will be available to download in April 2020.

6. Community Information Booths (501c3 nonprofits, public service agencies, festival sponsors, no commercial):
Application will be available to download in March 2020.
Community Booths (Friday-Sunday, July 24-26) in Liberty Park will be non-profits, social service agencies, neighborhood associations, churches, service clubs, and festival sponsors. Booth hours will be Friday, July 24, 11am-8pm, Saturday, July 25, 11am-8pm, and Sunday, July 26, 11am-6pm. All Exhibitors will be providing some type of free hands-on activity for children and families. Renton River Days does not have a commercial sales or vendor section. Commercial entities interested in sponsoring in 2020, should call 425.430.6528 or email Renton River Days/Sonja Mejlaender at email@example.com .
“Information Only” Community Booths: Nonprofits (501c3) which will be creating awareness for their agency and promoting their programs and services. Application will be available to download in March 2020.
“Fundraising” Community Booths: Nonprofits (501c3) which will be creating awareness for their agency and promoting their programs and services. These nonprofits are also permitted to accept donations and fundraise for their organization or charity of choice. Application will be available to download in March 2020.
7. Commercial Exhibitor/Vendors:
Renton River Days does not have a commercial vendor/exhibitor booth section. That benefit is reserved for Festival Sponsors. Commercial entities interested in sponsoring in 2020, should call 425.430.6528 or email Renton River Days/Sonja Mejlaender at firstname.lastname@example.org .
8. Stage Entertainment:
Performers should email electronic press kits to Renton River Days/Sonja Mejlaender (email@example.com) or mail their promo packs to: Renton River Days, 1055 S. Grady Way, Renton, WA 98057. Submit by January 31, 2020. Only entertainment being considered will be contacted.
9. Food Vendors:
Renton River Days welcomes past participants, and local restaurants and catering services before considering new food vendors. Interested food vendors should email Volunteer Nibble of Renton Chairman, Jace Werre, beginning January 2020 at firstname.lastname@example.org to see if there are opportunities.
10. Festival Souvenirs for Sale:
Visit the Festival’s Information Booth at Liberty Park, July 24-26, to see the entire selection of available Renton River Days souvenirs and products. Available this year will be the youth and adult t-shirt, logo stitched hats such as a military-style cap (olive green), and visors (marine blue and lime green).
The entire line of products and souvenirs are also available for sale at the Renton River Days Office, located on the 6th Floor of Renton City Hall (1055 S. Grady Way, Renton, WA 98057). Interested shoppers are asked to call the Festival Information Line at 425.430.6528 to make a sales appointment or leave a message.
