Sponsor a Child for River Days

Since 1986, Renton River Days has brought fun to the families in our community at no or very low cost to them, thanks to the generosity of local businesses, organizations and individuals. In order to sustain the tradition of offering virtually all its activities FREE to the public, River Days invites everyone in our community to Sponsor a Child for River Days by contributing $5. This minimal amount per child helps offset the costs of  inflatable games, stage entertainment, balloon artists, caricaturists, educational and interactive stations, and many other features brought in just for our kids.  Thank you in advance for considering a gift for one or more children.  Checks can be made payable to Renton River Days and sent to Renton River Days, 1055 South Grady Way, Renton, WA, 98057. Sound of Culture: SOLD to Renton Technical College!

This interactive station will be featured during festival weekend, July 21-23, 2017.  The Sound of Culture activity booth welcomes both children and adults to explore numerous instruments and experience sounds from a variety of cultures.

19th Annual Cedar River Quilters Show: SOLD to Bath Fitter!

Cedar River Quilters Guild will hold its 19th Annual Quilt Exhibit at the Renton Community Center on Saturday, July 22, and Sunday, July 23, 2017.  Admission is FREE.  Sponsor contributions offset expenses associated with hosting the show, such as rented easels and standards for the quilts. The Quilt Exhibit will feature dozens quilts of all sizes from small to king size, and include Wearable Art and Home Decorating.  Each year, the Cedar River Quilters Guild makes 250 quilts for premature babies treated at Valley Medical Center’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

With simple rules to guide them, children and adults explore strategy games, once played by the Pharaohs, Vikings, and Apache Indians, as well as games from every continent. These games help to create a life-long interest in history and culture. Available for children and adults alike, enjoy this hands-on station, underwritten with sponsor support.  All FREE.

Vuelta La Luna – Hooping, Aerialist & Balloons:  SOLD to Torero’s Mexican Restaurants!

Get our kids and adults moving . . . literally.  Returning to River Days during festival weekend, July 21-23, 2017, this FREE, fun and interactive activity station teaches the benefits of hula hooping for all shapes, sizes, ages and abilities.  Support the movement to encourage exercise, especially in our youth, with pure fun.  Aerialist performances daily at this captivating station.

Festival Volunteer Program:  SOLD to Puget Sound Energy!

Funding of this program provides refreshments, snacks, and a festival volunteer t-shirt to volunteers that give their time, energy and resources to assist in the parks during festival week helping with a variety of activities such as inflatables and interactive stations for kids and keeping the park and dining tent litter picked up and tables wiped down.  Sponsor logo featured on arm sleeve of 2017 volunteer t-shirts.

Pancake Breakfast:  SOLD to Harley Exteriors!

This July 22, Saturday morning event takes place at the Renton Senior Activity Center from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. (just before the start of the Parade). The breakfast is open to the general public and serves as a fundraiser for one of Renton’s finest service clubs, the Renton Lions Club. Sponsor funds will offset food expenses and morning entertainment.  Organized and hosted by Renton Lions Club.

The 21st Annual Chalk Art Contest will be held on July 22 in Liberty Park.  Sponsor support of this fabulous event provides awards for five juried categories.  Children are encouraged to participate as each will receive a prize. On Thursday, July 20, nearly 600 Renton-area seniors will be hosted and treated to a fabulous luncheon with activities, dancing and live entertainment at the Renton Community Center.  Sponsor offered on-site opportunity at the Senior Day Picnic to have an informational table.

Sponsor support for this popular and returning feature to Renton River Days will provide days and days of fun, FREE of charge, to kids in Liberty Park.  During our 3-day weekend, Friday, July 21 through Sunday, July 23, kids will move through this multi-zone interactive tumbling bus.  Dizzy’s Tumble Bus is a converted school bus brightly painted and retro-fitted with mats and tumbling activities promoting physical fitness for kids.  Support the movement to encourage exercise, especially in our youth, with pure fun!   All activities in the Tumble Bus are adult supervised.

The 24′ Rock Wall is a (4) sided “monster” that can challenge anyone from a Novice Climber to an Avid Climber.  The Auto Belay systems are safe and provide a fantastic belay experience coming down the wall.  This is a close to a real experience as it comes.  With sponsor support, this activity will be FREE to adults and children during festival weekend in Liberty Park.

Wenatchee Youth Circus:   Co-Sponsorship SOLD to Walmart!

The Wenatchee Youth Circus (WYC) will perform two shows on Friday, July 21, at 1:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., and one show on Saturday, July 22 at 1:30 p.m. in Cedar River Park (other side of I-405 by the Renton Community Center and Henry Moses Aquatics Center).   Sponsorship allows children to attend for only $2/pp and adults for $3/pp.  Sponsor is invited to give an Official Welcome to hundreds of attendees at the beginning of the three performances.

Join long time festival supporter Shuttle Express and help provide FREE continuous shuttle service from 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Friday, July 21, 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, and 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 23. Festival-goers are encouraged to park at Renton Memorial Stadium and take a free ride to Liberty Park to the pick-up/drop-off location near the tennis courts just off of Bronson Way N. Sponsor provided the opportunity to have signage and information inside the shuttle vans. Help support the effort to alleviate traffic and parking congestion in and around the main festival grounds of Liberty Park.

For this opportunity, Sponsor funding helps to provide festival logistical support.  Display up to two of your sponsor-provided banners (size to be agreed upon) on the 30’x40′ Shade Tents, one located in each of the ball fields of Liberty Park.  Be the Sponsor of these centrally located shade tents where festival-attendees take a break, out of the sun, and enjoy entertainment from the stages located nearby.  Thousands will attend River Days through the main three-day weekend, July 21-23.  This may be one of the most visible Sponsor signage acknowledgement opportunities!

Dining Tent at Liberty Park during Festival Weekend:   SOLD to BECU!

For this opportunity, Sponsor funding helps to provide festival logistical support.  Display up to two of your sponsor-provided banners (size to be agreed upon) on the 40’x80′ Dining Tent located near the Nibble of Renton food vendor booths. Be the Sponsor of this centrally located gathering place where festival-attendees take a break, out of the sun, and enjoy a meal with family and friends.  Thousands will attend River Days through the main three-day weekend, July 21-23.  This may be one of the most visible Sponsor signage acknowledgement opportunities!

Golf Carts at Liberty Park during Festival Weekend:

For this opportunity, Sponsor funding helps to provide festival logistical support.  Several golf carts are rented and staged at Liberty Park for use by core planning teams (i.e. Art Market volunteers, Entertainment/Stages volunteers etc).  Be the Sponsor of this key function and see your business logo on laminated signage attached to each golf cart as they make their way around the park 18+ hours a day for three days.  Thousands will attend River Days through the main three-day weekend, July 21-23.  This may be one of the most visible Sponsor signage acknowledgement opportunities!
