Event hours for Renton River Days at Piazza Park in Downtown Renton:
  • Friday, July 22nd: Time 4:30pm-8:30pm
  • Saturday, July 23rd: 11:30am-8:30pm
Parking Options
  • Free parking on Friday-Saturday, July 22-23, at the City Center Parking Garage, located at 655 S 2nd St.
  • Free parking may be available at the east side of Renton High School/Renton IKEA Performing Arts Center (depending on PAC bookings), with a short walk eastbound on S. 2nd St and take a right, heading southbound on Logan Ave S. Piazza Park will be on your left.
  • Downtown side streets and neighborhood parking areas
Street Closures
  • S. 3rd St. (through Houser Way N) closes Saturday, July 23, 7:00am, in preparation of the Parade
  • About 12pm, when Parade has concluded, S. 3rd St reopens; right lane of Houser Way S/N reopens; left lane of Houser Way S/N remains closed for Rubber Ducky Derby. 
  • About 5pm, after 4:30pm Rubber Ducky Derby launch of ducks in the Cedar River from the Houser Way pedestrian bridge, Houser Way S/N fully reopens
  • On July 23, Logan Ave S, west side of Piazza Park, remains closed for festival streeting between Piazza Park and Big 5 Gravel Lot until 8:30pm (similar to the weekly Renton Farmers Market on Tuesdays)

Purchase Rubber Ducky Derby tickets

For information on this year’s Rubber Ducky Derby, visit www.Rentonrotary.org or download their Rubber Ducky Derby flyer. Renton Rotarians will sell tickets along the Parade route on South 3rd Street on Saturday morning, July 23. Rotarians will also sell Ducky Derby tickets from the Rotary Table at the Renton Farmers Market at Piazza Park in downtown Renton on Tuesdays during June and July. Tickets are also available for purchase at St. Charles Place Antiques, Cugini Florists, and The Renton Printery located in downtown Renton, and from any Renton Rotary Club member. For each $5 ticket, supporters have a chance to win one of several great prizes. Renton Rotary’s Rubber Ducky Derby will launch from the Houser Way pedestrian bridge on Saturday, July 23, at 4:30pm.

Parade

Parade day is Saturday, July 23rd, on S. 3rd St. in downtown Renton, beginning at 10 am. Questions about the parade to parade chair Nancy Quinn, 425.572.5702 or email parade@rentonriverdays.org.

Community Information Booth

Community Booths (Friday-Sunday) in Liberty Park will be non-profits, social service agencies, neighborhood associations, churches, service clubs, and festival sponsors.

Booth hours:

  • Friday, 11am-8pm
  • Saturday, 11am-8pm
  • Sunday, 11am-6pm.

All exhibitors must provide free, hands-on activity for children and families.

Renton River Days does not have a commercial sales or vendor section. Commercial entities interested in sponsoring the festival, call 425.430.6528 or email Renton River Days/Sonja Mejlaender at smejlaender@rentonwa.gov.

Food Trucks

Food trucks are  confirmed for 2022. Interested food vendors for 2023 consideration should email Volunteer Nibble of Renton Chairman, Jace Werre, at info@rentonriverdays.org to see if there are opportunities.

Stage Entertainment

Entertainment slots are full for 2022. For consideration in 2023, performers should email electronic press kits to Renton River Days/Sonja Mejlaender (smejlaender@rentonwa.gov) or mail their promo packs to: Renton River Days, 1055 S. Grady Way, Renton, WA 98057. Only entertainment being considered for 2023 will be contacted.
