Be a part of Renton River Days

Become a sponsor to Renton River Days as we gather with family, friends, and neighbors to enjoy the amenities and activities that help make Renton a great community to live, learn, work, and play.

An estimated 40,000 residents, businesses, organizations, and tourists from all over the region attend the three-days event for a wonderful variety of events and special features, including arts and crafts, visual and performing arts, recreation, food, exhibitions, children’s activities, and stage entertainment, and more.

Liberty Park, in the heart of Renton, is the focal point for the festival held each year in late July. Cedar River Park is also host to many events in and around the Renton Community Center.

If you’re a local business owner or manage an organization, consider hosting an exhibitor booth in the park during festival weekend. Event Sponsors areas also provide space for commercial vendors or commercial exhibitors who benefit from a variety of marketing opportunities and sponsor integration. Sponsors also benefit from recognition in River Days marketing materials and web placement. Fees provided through the Events Sponsor program help support festival activities.

Become a Renton River Days Event Sponsor: email Sonja Mejlaender Festival Director, or call 425.430.6528.

Art Market & Art Show

Art Market provides space for local and regional vendors to showcase and sell a variety of art, hand-crafted, and import/independent distributor items. Marketplace vendors may be clustered together in a section (adjacent but separate) to the hand-crafted art vendors in the Art Market. The outdoor Marketplace show runs Friday through Sunday, in Gianini Stadium, located in Liberty Park. For more information, please email rentonriverdaysartmarket@gmail.com.

Renton Annual Art Show hosts 250 pieces of juried original artwork, available for purchase at the Renton Community Center. Artists and fine art enthusiasts can visit rentonannualartshow.com or 425.254.9934 or via email at Renton Annual Art Show Chairperson.

Renton River Days Parade

Renton River Days Parade is one of the many highlights of the three-day festival. Held on Saturday morning at 10 a.m., spectators line South 3rd Street from Shattuck Avenue to Liberty Park. Parade entries are creative, unique, and incorporate lots of music and entertainment for the whole family.

Renton River Days may provide a modest contribution to local or visiting marching bands, or other parade entries with musicians, bands or dancers and help offset expenses. Marching bands, musicians, and dancers captivate the crowds and fill the air with music. Our Parade Committee would like more entries like this to consider.

For parade entries requests and volunteering please contact Volunteer Parade Chair Nancy Quinn at 425.572.5702 or email at parade@rentonriverdays.org

Volunteer

Renton River Days is jam packed with events, entertainment, recreation, arts, and food. Volunteer during festival week by helping in the Information Booth, at recreational events, line control for the children’s inflatables and activity booths, set-up for the fine arts show, or monitoring intersections for safety during the Saturday parade. Most tasks are outdoors and require physical ability. Festival volunteers should be friendly, responsible and people oriented. Most tasks require volunteers be 16 years of age or older. Volunteering during the summer may be a way for youth to work towards accredited volunteer hours for the following school year.
