Art Market

Art Market provides space for local and regional vendors to showcase and sell a variety of art, hand-crafted, and import/independent distributor items. Marketplace vendors may be clustered together in a section (adjacent but separate) to the hand-crafted art vendors in the Art Market.

The outdoor Marketplace show runs Friday through Sunday, in Gianini Stadium, located in Liberty Park. For more information, please email rentonriverdaysartmarket@gmail.com.

Art Show

Renton Annual Art Show hosts 250 pieces of juried original artwork, available for purchase at the Renton Community Center. Artists and fine art enthusiasts can visit rentonannualartshow.com or 425.254.9934 or via email at Renton Annual Art Show Chairperson.

Beer and Wine Garden

Enjoy craft beer and wine selections, time with family and friends while playing yard games, and experiencing the sights and sounds from the entertainment stage at our Beer and Wine Garden located on the basketball court at Liberty Park. 21 and over only.

Community Booths

Community Booths, located in Liberty Park, provide space for non-profits, social service and public agencies, neighborhood associations, churches, service clubs, and festival sponsors to offer insightful information about our community, and hands-on activities for children and families. Booth hours are Friday & Saturday, 11am-8pm, Sunday, 11am-6pm.

Food Trucks (Nibble of Renton)

Experience a variety of culinary delights from local restaurants and caterers as part of the Nibble of Renton in Liberty Park. This popular appetizing food fair features food vendors with offerings including teriyaki, corn dogs, BBQ ribs, chowder, fish and chips, grilled salmon, salads, roasted corn, waffle cones, and ice cream and so much more.

5K & 10K Fun Walks (presented by the Volkssport Fun Walks)

ActivityZones (Free & Pay to Play)

we used to call this “KidZones” and in 2019, we started to reference this as Extreme Fun Zone for Kids, Teens & Adults (we can call it what we want for now, but in theory, I think RRDs would plan to have some free, and some pay to play) Has its own webpage

Spend time in Liberty Park enjoying live entertainment from a fabulous line-up of performing artists providing family entertainment including of instrumental, vocal, percussion, and dance. Nearly 175 performers take the stage during the three-day festival.

Performing artists are encouraged to submit their promotional packs (artist bios, cds, photos, etc.) or links to digital and websites to be considered for the Renton River Days Festival. Pancake Breakfast

Renton Lions Club hosts a delicious breakfast event held on Saturday, of the three-day festival, from 7:30-10 a.m. at the Renton Senior Activity Center. Menu features pancakes, eggs, sausage, fruit cup, coffee, tea, and orange juice. Prices are $8/pp for adults, $6 for seniors and $4 for children under 12. Renton Lions Club volunteers also collect used eyeglasses and hearing aids for distribution to the less fortunate. For more information, please call 425.255.9684.

Soccer Tournament (aka Six-A-Side Soccer Tournament)

Join soccer fans, supporters and players on the pitch Saturday, July 25, at Renton High School for Soccer Club of Renton East’s 35th Annual Tournament. Tournament open to Boys and Girls U/7 thru U/16. Visit grtysa.org for more information.

Visit the Renton History Museum during festival week from 10am-4pm, Tuesday through Saturday, and Noon-4pm on Sunday. Admission is free during festival week.

Nibble of Renton

Experience a variety of culinary delights from local restaurants and caterers at the 2020 Nibble of Renton in Liberty Park. This popular appetizing food fair will be open Friday, July 24, from 11am-8pm, Saturday, July 25, from 11am-8pm, and Sunday, July 26, from 11am-6pm. Food vendors will feature Hawaiian, teriyaki, corn dogs, bbq ribs, chowder, fish and chips, grilled salmon caesars, roasted corn, smoothies, ice cream, Italian sodas, and espresso to name just a few. Menu prices range from $8-$11.

Pacific Northwest Art & Music – DT Renton Block Party

Experience a live show celebrating artwork, photography, and music from the Pacific Northwest! Immediately following Saturday’s River Days Parade, Wells Avenue will quickly evolve into a mini block party. This Block Party will feature multiple bands, art demonstrations and displays offered by Renton-based artists. Music will begin at the conclusion of the Parade and continue throughout the afternoon.

Pancake Breakfast

This delicious breakfast event will be held on Saturday, July 25, from 7:30am-10am at the Renton Senior Activity Center. Parade

Parade Application will be available to download in April 2020.
Spectators line S. 3rd St. from Shattuck Avenue to Liberty Park on July 25 at 10am. The Parade welcomes the annual return of Kent Phillips, of STAR 101.5 FM, as our Parade Announcer. Participants are encouraged to create unique and nostalgic entries, and incorporating music is always a big hit with the crowds.

Volunteers are needed to assist with Parade morning set-up, staging, and monitoring intersections for safety. Please call Nancy if you are interested in volunteering for the Parade.

SPECIAL NOTICE: Renton River Days has a budget to provide a modest contribution to local or visiting marching bands, or other parade entries with musicians or bands and help offset expenses. Marching bands and musicians captivate the crowds. Our Parade Committee would like more entries like this to consider.

Quilt Show (aka Cedar River Quilters Guild Exhibition)

The 22nd Annual Cedar River Quilters Exhibition and Challenge will be held at the Renton Community Center.

Rubber Ducky Derby

The last day of Renton River Days means it is time for the Rotary Club Rubber Ducky Derby! Thousands of little yellow ducks will wait at the Houser Way Bridge at 4:30pm, ready to jump into the water and race down the Cedar River. Purchase of Rubber Ducky tickets will let you cheer your duck to possible victory and have a chance to win one of five valuable prizes at the same time. This much anticipated event benefits the Salvation Army Renton Rotary Food Bank, Renton School District, and other deserving area nonprofits.
For each $5 ticket, supporters have a chance to win one of several great prizes (2019 prizes listed; stay tuned for 2020 prizes!):

Rubber Ducky Derby

On the last day of the festival, Rotary Club of Renton host their Rubber Ducky Derby, releasing thousands of little yellow ducks into the Cedar River from the Houser Way Bridge. Each duck is purchased by fairgoers and winning tickets garners one of five valuable prizes. Funds raised through the event goes right back into the community through Rotary community funds.
